[PC] Gears of War 1_3 DVD5 spa-eng & coop [No RAR]

Esta es una version actualizada y mejorada del "[PC] Gears of War DVD5 & coop by JIMBO", hecha por mi para solventar cualquier problema que pudiera dar la anterior y hacer que todo el mundo pueda jugar perfectamente) Gears of War 1.3 para PC en DVD-5 (castellano e ingles). 1. Descomprimir con Winrar. 2. Quemar la imagen a un DVD usando Nero. 3. Instalar el juego. 4. Jugar! Audio y textos en ingles y castellano. Eliminado el video de las cuevas; el resto y todas las animaciones se han conservado. El modo cooperativo a traves de lan o vpn (Hamachi, por ejemplo) funciona perfectamente. El fichero "FixName.exe" no es un virus, aunque algunos antivirus digan lo contrario (Avira, mas no Kaspersky). En todo caso, no es un archivo esencial, por lo que se puede borrar y jugar con el nombre que viene por defecto. -JIMBO Es el mismo torrent que esta aqui, solo que lo descomprimi, y subi como imagen. God I hate this.

IT WORKS GREAT! But I had the language problem but after awhile I figured it out! What you can do is go the gears main folder then click options to change to english and if that doesn't work then in that same folder go to the binaries folder and delete the lang text file then everything turns english. It worked for me I hope it works for you all.

I can't get this to run at all.
Mounted it with PowerISO, Daemon Tools and when I run the Set up, the terminal window opens then closes and nothing happens.
Tried to burn it to disk with Nero and it said that it wasn't a valid Nero image file.
Any ideas?

The Game works well, but my AVG picked up a virus from the dowload. I ignored it as suggested, but my windows would open many windows after I shut it down...It took me many hours to clean up my system. I would not recommend this download.

For those of you that are trying to uninstall the game: go to binaries folder and find the file called option.bat. open it and a list comes up, "uninstall" being one of them.

For the life of me, I can't figure out how to start the game! Startup.exe does totally nothing and WarGame-G4WLive .exe just goes to black screen and gives me the Message " To play Gears Of War, double-click startup.exe" and when I do just exactly that it says, another instance of startup.exe is already running. Hey, I downloaded and it worked perfect. However, both Trainer.exe and Fixname.exe kept appearing as infected files so I allowed AVG to delete them. I also deleted the savegames and the checkpoint because I wanted a completely fresh start... And now, when I start a campaign, it begins loading but then crashes... Help?

I don't know if I'm the only one having this problem, but after I complete the torrent and mount the image using PowerISO and run the GoWsetup.exe it pops up as a cmd.exe file. After the cmd.exe runs through and extracts all the files to my computer it acts like it's about to go another installation set, but instead an error pops up saying "install.res.????.dll" Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone know how to fix it? Thank you in advance for any advice offered.

I got it to launch. Get a gears of war crack.
An actual crack (startup.exe)
Place it in C://Programme files / Gears of War / Binaries folder.
It launches but then it's still not in fucking english. Stupid retarded idea to put this shit in spanish and all that crap.

Okay, sorry if this looks like spam but i finnally got this shit to work fine and in english!
Step 1: Get and install the Daemon Tools software.
Step 2: Open the .NRG file, Daemon tools will mount it for you so no need for burning.
Step 3: Install the game, it will install for a while using cmd.exe just let it extract and all that stuff. At the end of the install you will see some kind of error in Spanish, that's okay, just continue.
Step 3: Once it is installed, go to C:// Programme files (x86) / Gears of War / Binaries or wherever you installed the Gears of War folder just get to binaries folder.
Step 4: Get a crack (Sorry, TPB does not allow links) so get a crack, it will be easy to find. Move the crack Startup.exe to the Binaries folder, replace the old one.
Step 5: Now, go to Desktop and create a New Text Document, call it "lang" .
Step 6: Go to Binaries folder and open a file called "lang.txt.eng" using Notepad. Copy everything inside it and paste into the "lang" text file you created.
Step 7: Save the file you created and go to Binaries folder and delete both "lang" and "lang.txt.eng".
Step 8: Move the one you created to the Binaries folder.

The game should now work fine and in english. I know, also hate nonsense. You're welcome.

To get it to work in english open the "lang.txt.eng" file found in the Binaries folder using Notepad, copy everything in there and create a new text document called "lang" and paste it there. Then delete both "lang.txt.eng" and "lang" from the Binaries folder and paste the one you made. It will work in english, you're welcome.

2. go to the 'extras' folder
3. run XLiveRedist (It should ask if you want to change, repair or uninstall)
4. Click uninstall
5. once it finishes, run it again and install it.
LAN should work no probs.
