Our goal is to release DVDR's with a video and audio quality that do not differ from the original disc. Due to these facts, we happily remove extras from a release to make room for the video and audio. For us, DVD (and DVDR) is about having the best availiable video and audio quality that this excellent format can handle, so that we get a thrilling experience on our HI-FI systems. Some DVD's though, are constructed in such a way that it is impossible not having to downsample the main movie even when all extras are gone, for instance when the movie is ~3 hours long and there is a DTS track on it. When these situations occur we use CCE with a minimum of 7 passes to encode the main movie to achieve a quality that is highly acceptable. Due to the fact that groups STILL use the term "COMPLETE" for releases that are not from a DVD5 source (releases that do not require any ripping, downsampling or any other altering) we have decided to stop using that term for our DVD5 releases. From now on we will tag our DVD5 releases with the term "DVD5" instead of "COMPLETE" to make sure there aren't any misunderstandings regarding the release being altered or untouched. DVD5 release = 1:1 copy from the original disc. We urge other groups out there to follow our examples, tagging releases DVD5 if the source is a DVD5 disc and for DVD9 releases, keep the video and audio quality at its best. Jag är inte i position att bestämma över någon och det är väl inte riktigt i sin rätta form att sitta här och klaga på något när det trots allt är gratis men jag tycker ändå någonstans att om man nu väljer att ladda med sig av något så bör man åtminstone vänta tills en person har kunnat ladda ner filen (filerna), det känns lite som om själva torrentidéen går lite i stöpet annars . .
