What's it about? Deus Ex is set in the near future. It's a grim time to live, with a widening chasm between rich and poor, and a mysterious plague called the Gray Death sweeping across the world. There is a manufactured cure, called Ambrosia, but the tiny supply is controlled by government agencies (namely FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency) and carefully doled out to the most important people, including government officials, celebrities, and the social elite. The average joe who contracts Gray Death is often left to wither away and die in the gutter because of the supply problems. An underground group called the NSF is convinced that the Gray Death is part of a huge conspiracy to eliminate the underclass. They work against the government to hijack Ambrosia shipments and distribute them to the proletariat. In response, the government dispatches their anti terrorist agency, UNATCO, against the NSF and other groups who have banded together against the government. I dloaded it, i try and mount the .ccd with both daemon and alcohol and neither works, saying 'Unable to access image file." wtf?

Nice clean upload, thanks deamon2000, I loved this game on PS2. I use Xpadder to emulate the PS2 control set up, works well; thanks also to you guys/gals who continue to seed older torrents.

You have to extract the DeuxEx_GOTY_1.rar file and then mount DeuxEx_GOTY_1.img file in DT/Alcohol/other.
When mounting, next to the filename, don't forget to change option "All image files" (or similar) for option "All files" to be able to see the .img file in the extracted folder

GOTY includes an editor. Which I used the shit out of. So entertaining and fairly simple to get the hang of. I remember staying up all night making custom maps and levels.
2 other great (in my opinion) classic games from this era with a futuristic and in depth storyline:
