SYNOPSIS: On August 7th 1974, a young Frenchman named Philippe Petit stepped out on a wire illegally rigged between New York's twin towers, then the worlds tallest buildings. After nearly an hour dancing on the wire, he was arrested, taken for psychological evaluation, and brought to jail before he was finally released. Following six and a half years of dreaming of the towers, Petit spent eight months in New York City planning the execution of the coup. Aided by a team of friends and accomplices, Petit was faced with numerous extraordinary challenges: he had to find a way to bypass the WTCs security; smuggle the heavy steel cable and rigging equipment into the towers; pass the wire between the two rooftops; anchor the wire and tension it to withstand the winds and the swaying of the buildings. The rigging was done by night in complete secrecy. At 7:15 AM, Philippe took his first step on the high wire 1,350 feet above the sidewalks of Manhattan. This is absolutely one of the greatest films of our time.
Can someone please, please seed? I have been downloading for more than two days and the most anyone seeding seems to have is 61.1%.
I would buy this DVD, but I can't find the edition with the extras on it (I checked Amazon in USA, UK, and Germany), which is why I really want this upload. If I get the whole show, I promise to keep it active for at least a month, if not longer.

I have now been seeding for three weeks and am totally stuck at 74.1% (as were a number of other downloaders - they seem to have all given up). There has been no activity whatsoever in recent days. Occasionally one seeder (from Canada) with 100% pops up, but never for more than a few minutes. No one else has the full film.
I did find that the edition with the extra features is the 2008 Icon Home Entertainment edition. You can buy a used copy for as low as €1.74 at Amazon.co.uk and shipping is minimal. I figure that IF this download ever finishes (which seems doubtful), I'd still pay €2.79 for a blank DVD9, plus €4 in transportation to get to and from the store which sells them, so it's actually cheaper to buy it through Amazon than to download it for "free!"

I finally got it! And I vow to keep it active indefinitely: it will be available whenever my computer is on, which is pretty much 24/7 except when I am traveling or using my computer for work (to do an interview or story at a remote location, and/or stuck in a hotel without an Internet connection).
