Stora Planid (ICELANDIC MOVIE)

Since then he has sought comfort in a Chinese philosophy video called The Higher Force. To this day, the wisdom of the Higher Force is guiding David through life and despite him being a member of questionable gang of debt-collectors, David is certain that fate has something greater in store for him. Upon moving into a new building, David befriends the landlord, Harald, a lonely elementary school teacher, who senses the young man's insecurity and need for guidance. When Harald finds out that David is a member of a debt-collectors gang, Harald starts playing himself as a big crime lord, owning real estate all over town, employing dubious characters and receiving large shipments of illegal goods from abroad. David's low status amongst his debt-collector mates, who keep putting him down for being a coward, quickly changes once David starts feeding them information on Harald, the mysterious crime lord. He becomes the center of attention as he risks his life to spy on the 'dangerous' elementary school teacher and his big operations for the paranoid debt-collector gang. David is certain that fortune's turn of events is due to the influence of the Higher Force, enjoying every minute of the gang's new found respect for him. Little by little, cracks start to form in David's new existence. Harald's behavior becomes stranger by the day, causing trouble for David's spying game, as the pressure increases from the gang to take immediate action against Harald and his operations. The gutless David will need to take action against the innocent Harald or end up in a ditch himself. Leikstjórinn er �lafur de Fleur Jóhannesson, sem hefur getið sér gott orð fyrir heimildarmyndir sínar, eins og Africa United og Blindsker. Auk Péturs fékk �lafur til liðs við sig flokk valinkunnra leikara, en auk Péturs leika Eggert �orleifsson, sem fer á kostum í myndinni, Ingvar E. Sigurðsson, Benedikt Erlingsson, Ilmur Kristjánsdóttir, Zlatko Krickic og Stefan Schaefer stór hlutverk í Stóra planinu. � aukahlutverki birtist svo stórleikarinn Michael Imperioli úr Sopranos-þáttunum, og setur hann skemmtilegan svip á myndina. Stóra planið er lífsspeki sem Davíð trúir staðfastlega á eftir að hann missti litla bróður sinn í slysi í barnæsku. Hann kynntist Stóra planinu á kínversku sölumyndbandi, en á ensku kallast það The Higher Force. �etta er í raun svokölluð rassvasalífsspeki sem fæstir myndu leggja neina sérstaka merkingu í, en hjá Davíð er Stóra planið visst haldreipi í lífinu. �stæðan er sú að hann er svolítið minnimáttar í lífinu og er í afskaplega vafasömum félagsskap þar sem hann nýtur engrar virðingar. Vegna Stóra plansins trúir hann þó því að stærra og betra hlutverk bíði hans í lífinu. Davíð flytur í nýja íbúð og kynnist leigusalanum Haraldi (Eggert �orleifsson). Haraldur er einmana grunnskólakennari og virðist sjálfur á niðurleið í lífinu, en tekur sérstöku ástfóstri við Davíð og tekur hann upp á sína arma. Davíð segir Haraldi að hann sé meðlimur í glæpagengi kemur á daginn að Haraldur virðist hafa ýmislegt sjálfur í pokahorninu. Davíð segir sínu eigin glæpagengi frá Haraldi, og það leiðir til þess að hjólin fara aldeilis að snúast og atburðarás lífs hans tekur algerlega nýja og óvænta stefnu. Stóra planið er hrikalega skemmtileg, og er uppfull af karakterum sem eru hver öðrum skrautlegri. Hún hlaut mjög góðar viðtökur þegar hún kom út, og hlaut auk þess mjög góða aðsókn í bíó. Ekki missa af þessari frábæru gamanmynd um lítið fólk með stór plön. Since you have no subtitles for it, I'm wondering why you wrote about it in English. I doubt it's easy to get ones hands on subtitles for an icelandic movie.
