Malestrom does it again. This is great information. I refuse to pay a 30 year mortgage, when 9 of 10 people never pay it off. Building my own has many more advantages versus the banks interest and illusion of scarcity driving the price to ridiculous highs. I never liked the market value approach to real estate. I stick with the cost analysis angle.
