All you fags that are yelling seed probably don't even know how to set up your router or notice other variables like sparing overhead for the connection handshake, checking with databases on your ISP's throttling system and making sure your DNS, firewall(s) and proxy settings are configured properly.
Until you check all those things I listed and know beyond the shadow of a doubt that it's a lack of seeders then you have no right to bitch. I hardly EVER have a problem with torrent speeds. If there are over 100 seeds I'm getting 900kb/s EVERY time. So until you check every single thing I listed, shut the fuck up. Could someone give me some advice on configuring my pc the way xiIix mentioned. Wow, alot of hostile posters and yea, leechers who don't seed 1:1 shouldn't be allowed back but I try to seed and if I don't have the perfect ratio then maybe I should be banned but I don't upload anything cuz I don't know how to make uploads. I am getting a decent DL speed and I put the upload on a govenor until after it is done then try to seed fora week or so afterwards. If it isn't enough I appoligize. y'know, not all of us live in a part of the world that hasd blazing internet connections. Hell, i live in SW kansas and the most speed i can hope to get around here is a 1.5mbps DSL connection, which basicly translates into 250-320kbps download and, an ungodly 50kpbs upload :(. i try to seed all files under 300 megs for quite a long time, but y'know, if you have a shitty upload speed and cant get a better one due to geographics, etc.. like me, then seriously, dont seed anything over 500megs or you could cause people to actualy slow down.
so stop your whining and take things like this into account would ya^^ geez!!
