Text To Speech Collection /w Reader

This is a voice collection from a series of torrents available on thepiratebay.se. I tested everything contained in this set using the included reader Text Aloud, on Windows 7 x64 SP1. I would recommend for some avoiding dates in numbers, some (crystal/mike I know for sure) pronounce them as xxhundredxx such as 1938 as ninteen hundred thirty eight instead of nineteen thirty eight. Can't seems to be better when replaced by cannot or can not. Neo voices can't pronounce "sounds" like aaghh..they spell them....quickly. Of the test material I tried (the first story of the "Complete Robot" A Boy's Best Friend by Isaac Asimov) I found the voices to be as follows (Mary is an M$ voice, and is not included in this torrent) Ordered first by rating second by alphabet (fix the "sounds" problem and you have the absolute best!) Bridget 4/5 - neo Matter of preference below Julie 3/5 - neo Kate 3/5 - neo Paul 3/5 - neo These sound midly computerish Aaron 2/5 - Acapela Audrey 2/5 - AT&T Crystal 2/5 - AT&T Graham 2/5 - Acapela Heather 2/5 - Acapela Laura 2/5 - Acapela Lucy 2/5 - Acapela Mike 2/5 - AT&T Ryan 2/5 - Acapela ...The last one is free with windows....which explains it's rating... As far as the download, my upload is slow (25@daytime 45@night). If you want to save time either download only the small samples or no samples, they are just to help make the choice of downloading fewer pieces for those who want only one voice.

With all respect Mr.Tsuris,
Neospeech Julie is better than Bridget, i tried them both.
Bridget sounds more human like but her rhythm and speed is not good like Julie.
But thanks very very much for uploading this AIO torrent, I wish people will seed this for a year.

No Mr. needed (am a guy but still young..i hope :P) Each will have their own opinion, i prefer the tone of Julie but bridget sounds more natural and that was what mattered to me (also in speak to file bridget goes about 2-5x as fast, again all a matter of preference). As a question to all interested in scifi, i am looking to create a mass Isaac Asimov torrent, with actual voices (where available) and tts where not, does anyone else have a preference on the voice chosen?

I remember before Vista/7 came out, there were going to be more voices than just Anna, I wonder what happened?
BTW, Freespace SCP can use these "speakers".

Hi and thank you for the torrent.
And also, to people who are new to text-to-speach English voices, I recommend "Paul". It is by *far* superior to all other voices I've tried, and I've tried pretty much all of them. Trust me, I use TTS for years now. And as for software, I recommend "NaturalReader". Google it and you'll find it on torrent sites.

I am also seeding your torrents as much as I can. But I don't understand How (thepiratebay) works. When I login to my account, it shows me that I don't seed at all. How can this be possible?
I am mostly a (Kickass Torrents) User. They have a better user and seeding platform.

I recommend Balabolka reader. It can convert any document to MP3 pretty fast. Very easy to use and customize as well pitch and speed. It's free too!
