F4CG overnight, released WinMount 2.0.3, which comes with a patch to patch the program. This program claims to be revolutionary in the way it handles ZIP and RAR archives. Rather then decompressing them, it mounts them onto a virtual drive to allow you to view them. (Is it just me, or does mounting them to a drive sound like a lot of hassle, and wouldn?t it be the same as decompressing them?). I would ignore all these Winmount torrents. You should just get a genuine one off the net. It goes on working for ever, and it's free.
You just get a nag screen each time it is opened, urging you to buy it after the 15-day trial, or to remove it from your computer. But you can happily just ignore this nag and it still works with no restrictions beyond the 15-day trial.
I've had mine for 6 months now, and it's working fine.
