Description:
It\'s time to dust off those old megamix records and tapes.
This the VERY FIRST MIX from DMC (aka Disco Mix Club), a DJ-only subscription club which has been running for 25 years.
They produce monthly releases, which to start with were only released on cassette tape.
Producing mixes on cassettes has an advantage over vinyl in that longer individual mixes can be recorded, up to the entire length of a tape, which is much longer than what can be fitted onto an LP.
DMC used this advantage with their first mix, DMC Floorfillers Volume 1, which is 45 minutes long.
These early recordings are as rare as hens teeth, so enjoy this, seed it, and watch out for more very early mixes from DMC coming soon.

OMG.... I got so much of this stuff on tape from the LES ADAMS show on SOLAR FM back in the mid 80's.All mixes have radio station idents, and "Les Adams, the mix doctor" over the top of them, but none the less, fantastic mixes all very well preserved on TDK SA and AD tapes.....remember those?
let me know if any of you want these. I also have old KISS FM mixes (when they were a pirate station) and some LWR stuff and others. I am a mix fan to say the least.
A big thanks as well to the uploader mix-o-matic who I guess has just started an unstoppable ball rolling here!
