OK, I downloaded the previous torrent with the Russian version. I did it all as described, changed the local settings etc. I had the option to change the language at start of installation process. Then I allied the Trivium crack. Not: before the crack, there was no "RUSSIAN.ESP" file - does this mean sheathing's wrong?
Anyway, I configure the graphics and the game crashes really soon after a few seconds of black screen.
Could this be that I do not match the requirements? I have ATI Radeon 9550/X1050 card and 1GB of RAM. Normally it wasn't a problem that I was slightly under the specs.

to get this russian copy to install so you can hear english voices and english ingame text (out of game menues still in russian) follow these steps
change unicode to russian, to do this go to control panel, regional and language options, administrative tab, change system locale to russia, reboot when asked.
next step run the setup from daemon tools, a window you wouldn't have seen if you skipped the unicode step pops up with english option, click that and continue installation, the install will still be in russian.
After that install the crack from trivium, run the game and you should see a russian menu and options to open the settings menu or run the game, the settings menu will be in russian.
After the game launches everythings in english if you did it right.

Works for me. English language and all. I skiped a few steps in the instructions however.
How i did:
1. Mounted "FALLOUT3.mds" in daemon tools.
2. Start ---> Run ---> E:setup.exe /lang=en (E: is my simulated daemontools drive)
3. Clicked trough the installer without changing anything. (in Russian)
4. Copied the "Fallout3" and "FalloutLauncher" from Crack directory in download folder to the game folder, replacing the original files.
5. Ran the "FalloutLauncher" and pressed the first option from the top to start the game.
Once in the game, everything is in English.

The thing is that the crack is made for xp. In vista it doesnt get the authoritie to run as admin and cant crack, and if you try to run it as admin it'll say that blablabla files are not in the system32 folder... So anyone did anyone got this to work under vista??

Okay i have two problems first is its in Russian but i don't really care i can start the game but here is my other problem i installed it and the screen was pink i changed my settings to low in options then it worked but it kept crashing when i started the game so i un installed and re installed with daemon (used magic ISO before) and now no matter what i still have a pink screen then it crashes :( please help dudes and dudettes

Solved English Problem:

After that install the crack from trivium, If in vista right click on the crack file extractor and type run as administrator and let it run.
Go to the data folder and delete all the files that start with Russian within that folder only.
Go to fallout and run it as administrator. This should work if it doesnt let me know and ill tell you all the other crap i did that i didnt think made a difference. 4 hours trying to solve this damn problem.
If you failed the installation previously uninstall everything and delete the fallout directory.

To gett the language to work in vista you have to go to vistas compability-files and replace it with the one that got generated by the crack. If it still doesnt work try renaming it to english.esp or just delete it sonce i dont think it'll be needed (keep a copy as Im not sure).

ran the setup but i thought it froze at 99% and instead of waiting I closed it. Now i cant run the game. so i deleted the installed game and tried running the installer again but now there is an error message filled with gibberish when i try to run it...

If some of you have problem with that the game freezes randomly, then follow this guide:
1. Click Start
2. Click ?All Programs? (or just Programs, depending on the version of Windows, whether they?re using ?classic,? etc.)
3. Go to the ffdshow folder.
4. Click ?Audio decoder configuration.?
5. In the left hand pane, click ?Info & debug.? This is the second entry in the list.
6. In the right hand pane, near the bottom, find a check box labelled ?Don?t use ffdshow in:?
7. Check that box, and in the text box underneath (it lights up when you check the check box), add ?fallout3.exe? (don?t include the quotes). If there is already something in that box, put a semi-colon ( ; ) after what?s already there, and fallout3.exe after that. Do NOT use spaces, since ffdshow will think that?s part of the filename. A valid entry would be ?explorer.exe;fallout3.exe? (without quotes).
8. Finally, click ?Ok? and start Fallout 3.

OK I did install /lang=en and ran the game once, which generates the russian.esp file, which I then deleted, which fixed everything for me
Game still wasn't what I hoped it would be. I think I'll have to power through all the sidequests as well next playthrough.

To change RUS menu in game to english just go to your "Fallout 3\data" and rename Russian.esp to english.esp. Work excellent in XP Pro 32bit.

try to reinstal the game, but don't delete russia.esp, just rename it. and do everything from instruction: "click on "START then "RUN" and type "x:setup.exe /lang=en" ("x" is cd/dvd drive letter. If your cd drive is d: then enter D:setup.exe /lang=en" etc. then rename russia.esp and put english luncher.
It work, I spent more than 24 hours playing :) without problems :]

I uninstalled,
ran F:setup.exe(gap)/lang=eng ,
installed it again(instructions were in rus.)
coppied & overwrote from the crack folder Fallout3 exe, Fallout3 launcher, T icon ,
ran the game & everything's in ENGLISH!!!
didn't even have to erase or mess with any rus. files.

The initial launch menu is in Russian. Once you start game everything is in english.
Also you can use a virtual CD in XP. I have PowerISO and it works fine with it in XP Service Pack 3

Sorry for posting so much,but I realised that the crack worked after deleting the fallout 3 folder and putting the backup one there,but when I try to run the game It will say Fallout 3 Has stopped working and that windows is going to close the program,and it closes.Randomly happens,havent been able to get into the game yet.any help?
