The quality of the vid is pretty decent; I watched it on a 24" screen and it looked OK. The audio seems to lag a bit at the beginning, but it's only for short while and then it goes back to normal.
The subs are spot on if anyone needs them.
As to the film itself: it is a beautiful, heartwrenching, intelligent story that takes its time; it's not fun or easy to watch--that's not the point. Think of Michael Haneke's Amour.
