Install (chose restart later & close it completely in task bar manager) 4. Copy the content(3 files) from the SKIDROW folder (where you mounted or burned) to your installation directory (C: Program Files (x86) (if you have win 64 bit)ChessBase/ChessProgram12) and overwrite 5. Restart pc 5. Start the game (double click on the icon on desktop) and chose the drive where you mounted or burned. 6. Enjoy the game (a little window will pop up saying it is not activated, just ignore it, you can fully use it, you also can play at Playchess.com (I entered as guest) Additional Notes: If you want to use this without having the DVD in the drive, copy the content on the DVD to your drive. Browse and locate it, when you're being asked to insert the TALK or VIDEO CD. You can also select custom/complete install during setup. To get around that issue. Why in rar? Because iso is 4.32 GB. Rared is only 3.80 GB. So why not save 500 MB ;-) I downloaded it from a private site. Credits deserved by all who keep seeding it. Cheers.

This torrent contains fritz 12 engine which is not activated (see instollation notes above) and so works at only limited search depth. Further Norton File insight says the crack is malacious. Another Torrent is available which contains fully functional engine and has clean crak at I have downloaded and now seeding the good one. Good Luck Folks.

I highly recommend that you use rybka 4 engine and rybka's opening book as well.. I started the engine match rybka 4 vs fritz 12(10 min. per game) and result was 6-0 for rybka..

With all due respect to well-meaning babochak, this torrent Does Work. Choose Custom Install and check-mark everything. Apply the Crack from the installed program, not the Iso. Move all the engines to the right hand box, Except Deep Fritz 12. The green dot below the engine will tell you its working.

Well I tried this and I can only say it sucks. I get messages all the time about how this isn't a "authorized" version and it show. I never see my 8 processors working and I beat fritz often. Infact the engine sucks, so I don't think this version is working it's just a weaker version of the real thing.

@BigUglyMotha - You can't set up the program correctly and you're boasting that you beat Fritz's chess engine often? Bullshit! There is no "Moron" level in this program. As I said above: Under ENGINE in the 'Toolbar' click "Engine Management" and move all except 'Deep Fritz 12' to the right-hand panel. The program (on my gear) says 8 CPU's Stop ragging and lying. Go to your mother's purse, as usual, and buy the fucking software, bitch. Happy New Year...

@zoekatyaa: This is the process that worked on my gear (Windows7 64 bit) Install uTorrent on your machine. Then install DAEMON Tools Lite and TeraCopy { These 3 programs are FREE} Download Fritz. Click on the logo of Daemon (a circle with a Lightning Bolt in it) This will "mount" all the rar files in the ISO. Click on this file: sr-df12m; this will start the unRawing of ALL the files. You will see a Setup Icon with a white T in a green circle. Click on this. When you see the 3 choices click on Custom / don't uncheck anything on the next screen. Proceed to install Fritz. Don't worry about any serial numbers. Keep pressing all the OKs on the following screens. Fritz will appear like Casper the Friendly Ghost. After this you can teracopy the 3 files in skid-row to the Chessbase directory (Though it works without doing this.) Put your favorite Handle In the John Doe section Follow the instructions I gave previously {above}. Choose Club Level for an intelligent Game. Then Have FUN hun. Hope this helped. ~Punk . Chicago
