Looking at IMDB I see that C Thomas Howell is in this. He was in a War of the Worlds movie I saw on the Sci Fi channel around the time the Tom Cruise movie came out. That movie was 2 hours of my life that I can't ever get back and this appears to be a sequel to that. NOT a sequel to the Spielberg / Cruise version. Thanks for the up, but I avoid anything with C Thomas Howell.

OK , first I need to give thanks for the uploaders effort to get us this film. video 8/10 audio 8/10. Unfortunately that is the most positive thing I can say about it. Low budget, no name actors and pathetic special effects. Dont download this movie expecting it to be anything like the remake by Spielberg. I was wondering why I never even knew this film existed until I saw it in a torrent,now its perfectly clear!! thanks again aitb, but , wow what a stinker this one is.

So, this is not a sequel to the Spielberg film, but a sequel to the War of the Worlds straight to video film of 2005... I guess it's probably worth a look, I doubt it's any worse than those Sci-Fi channel remakes such as Invasion of the Body Snatchers...
Question: anyone know where to download the first WOTW by the Asylum? Just out of sheer curiosity.

Here's what happens: now the alien walkers have teleport zappers, they gave up on the tentacles. They come from Mars, in the future, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they turned out to be the humans of the future trying to repopulate a world with people. The plot is just that shitty!
Kid's father infects himself and the alien ship with a supervirus thing, he's supposed to die but somehow doesen't.
The aliens didn't learn it seems, and keep all their ships networked together even though it was the death of the first wave and anybody with ANY COMMON SENSE would call for radio silence.
the annoying mexican or whatever guy lives and shouldn't have, while the one person without his thumbs up his ass who knows anything dies of the superflu before he can say anything that can be of direct help.
A fire exit leading to the ship?! WHAT THE FUCK?! you would think the aliens would have bricked it off!
Oh, and worst of all, earth wins, but in the end, you hear more alien chatter on the radio!
