Description:

Multi Password Recovery v1.1.1 made Portable. No need to install it! Or, if you want to, Setup and Crack are included. Copy Loader and Key in the install Dir and run ldr.exe. Multi Password Recovery (MPR) - multifunctional password decryption and auditing solution for Windows. MPR instantly finds and recovers passwords from more than 90 popular applications (FTP, E-mail clients, Instant Messengers, Browsers and so on). It also checks saved passwords for vulnerabilities, can delete stored passwords, shows passwords hidden under asterisks, copies SAM file, can generate new passwords. Under NT-systems MPR is able to process blocked for reading files. Latest version 1.1.1 (03-Jan-2009). Changes: [!] Portable version of Multi Password Recovery is out now Portable software is a class of software that is suitable for use on portable drives such as an USB drive. Portable MPR version does not require installation, registration key can be stored in 'key.txt' file, all application settings are also stored in a file. This version leaves a near-zero "footprint" on any PC it's run on after being used. All temporary files/registry settings are removed once the program has exited. [+] New modules: Pandion, UPSMon, QIP.Online, JAJC (Just Another Jabber Client), Web Site Publisher (c) Brian Cryer, Digsby, Apple Safari, Google Chrome [+] MPR checks for the update on start every 7 days [+] Implemented Mozilla Firefox 3 password decryption [+] FileZilla 3 account processing is now supported [+] Added Spanish translation (thx Christian Olaechea M.) [-] Fixed Windows product key retrieval (System Info module) [-] Removed memory leak in Firefox decryption module More infos at http://passrecovery.com/ !!!WARNING!!!WARNING!!!WARNING!!!WARNING!!!WARNING!!!WARNING!!! Most antiviruses like mine detects this as a not-a-virus:PSWTool.Win32.PasswordRecovery.a. That's what it is, not-a-virus, and a Password Recovery Tool. If you don't want it on your computer, don't use it!!!! The Portable version isn't the original one, not yet seen around, but a work around to bring the installed one with you. It will create a MPR dir in the place where the Portable EXE is, and you have to remove it by yourself at the end. Using WinRAR to make the SFX EXE and expand the files in %TEMP% doesn't work, dunno why, so this one is the dumbest and easiest way to make it "Portable". I know that it could not be really defined Portable, but take it how it comes... ;o) The Portable SFX EXE file is built up using WinRAR. You can use it to extract the files and check them one by one if you want to be sure of what is running on your machine. SUGGESTIONS ON USING P2P DOWNLOADS ================================== 1) It's always better to run all downloaded programs using Sandboxie or a similar virtual machine. 2) When in doubt, scan them with an Internet Scan service as the ones provided by Jotti and VirusTotal http://virusscan.jotti.org/ http://www.virustotal.com/ This will ***NOT*** give you any warranty that a file passing their analysis is clean, nor that if they see them as a troian it's so or not just another false positive, but helps you to decide and at least ask for help or infos. 3) Remember, trust nobody, and when in doubt, go to point 1) 4) If you find any upload containing trojans or whatsoever malicious or unclean, instead of start cursing in the comments of the upload, take the time to go to the Suprbay Forum at: http://suprbay.org/forumdisplay.php?f=34 and report links and comments there, and someone will take care of all the nasties. That's the only way to keep TPB and its uploads fresh and clean. That's for what is regarding security. If after testing it you see that you like it and it's useful for you, show your support by buying it! Enjoy and remember to seed... :o)

Don't Dload its a Trojan. Its says Trojan Horse Generic_c.ACVK ! DON'T DOWNLOAD!

maverick_jones (2009-01-13)

When you click Multi Password Recovery v1.1.1 Portable.exe it will say can't find file and then it creates a Folder named MPR which contains a ldr.exe file which is the Trojan. DON'T DOWNLOAD.

The loader itself is 9kB long and it looks hard to fit a trojan inside together with the real program. If you read the notes I specify that some AVs, as mine, detects MPR.exe as a Hack Tool, that's what effectively is. Maybe it's time to choose a better AV...

@maverick_jones
BTW, both Jotti and Virustotal find the ldr.exe as clean, and the last one scans it with 36 different AVs. I'm wondering which AV are you using...
