Counter-Strike: Source (Mac) - Not Cider Port!

It is a .exe file, so u need to use crossover or crossover games, it doesn't really matter if u dont know how to do that heres a video that u can watch

So... This is a Windows game, not a Mac game. Personally I've seen a few tweaked PC versions that I'd go for before this. Thanks all the same.

It's a Window's executable. I don't doubt that it works well in Crossovers...
TPB has some recent editions of Crossover's right now.
Crossovers>Cider though.
Cider isn't as high DX support-wise or Hardware support wise. Your best bet is too use Crossovers. It isn't that much of a hassle (if you get the Download Zone copy then it isn't a hassle at all). You really only need to run through an installer.
Crossover's is the best way to go short of XP (DX9) or Vista (DX10).

Crossover only works on intel Macs. Leopard is not necessary, as I use crossover on Tiger. But it -must- be an intel based mac(including the mac minis)
You can find out what mac you have by clicking on the apple logo and selecting "about this mac"

if you have an intel mac just use bootcamp... its going to be better than running cider OR crossover. but I agree, crossover > cider. and don't say "well I don't have a copy of windows..." lol
if you have a ppc mac, forget it... it probably isn't fast enough to run virtual pc with a game loaded up in it, at least, not to a really playable level... if you can get it to install.

Steam users can download the MAC version of source if they previously bought the PC version. Some years ago i bought Counter Strike Source via steam. Meanwhile i've changed to mac. Mac steam client and source engine is available to macs. MacPro Lion 10.7.1
