hi guys, i just want to ask if there is anybody else who is having the same situation like me, which i won't call it necessarily a problem but whenever i am playing the game the image seems to be moving quite slow and the sound moves ahead of the video. i know that the pc performance counts the most, but i am having a packard bell dualcore 2.13 ghz processor, 2GB ram and 512MB video card which is ATI Radeon 1600 Series. I have also installed the latest directx and the video drivers they're the last ones available to download. what should i do? it is not a big problem but whever i am in a bigger fight with more enemies i can't keep a steady target because i am on the move at all times! any suggestions anyone?

arpisor try uninstalling and reinstalling your ide/ata atapi drivers and restarting your computer. its probably a weird driver issue with your cd/dvd drive if so that will fix it

If you're getting the binkw32.dll error, or you tried to fix that and are now getting the _binksetvolume error right click the Overlord icon on your desktop and say 'open file location' and then move all the stuff from that file into the crack folder. If you separate the Crack Overlord icon from the components in the game file you will continue to get errors. Once I put everything in one folder it worked. Please note if you make a desktop icon with the blue Overlord icon from the Crack folder it will not work, you have to click from the folder location.
Hope this helps, because I myself am not very torrent literate, so a lot of the instructions made little sense to me. I figured it out with a lot of searching and eventually got it right, lol. ;) But the game works great for me.

I used daemon tools to mount the iso file, then I installed it, placed the crack in C:Program Files (x86)CodemastersOverlord and replaced, then used the Config.exe to change the resolution, and then I used the overlord.exe to run the game, it works perfectly, until you close it it shows and .exe error that doesn't ruin anything in my opinion, I didn't know how to fix this using the patch before installing, I tried using the patch from this torrent but it kept telling me it couldn't access the iso file.. neither the tut nor the description were helpful about this patch but nevertheless, this torrent is legit and the game works like a charm, thanks!
