It doesn't matter if you go on live or not. The 360 takes a log of anytime you ever play a game. And if you play a game before the release date, they take note of it. Play too many games before the release date and when they do a user purge they will nail you. Live or not.

Azhain, thats not how it works, every single sold game has the chance of the retailers selling it early, employes taking home a copy early and so on, so no they wont ban you from live just because you play something early, if you however play something impossibly early, like say for example 4 weeks like as in the case with Fallout 3, yes then they most likely flag you. The flag system is mainly aimed at checking for weird figures when booting up a disc, and those gets cached and sent over to MS. MS got no interest in punishing paying customers just because they were lucky enough to purchase a game a day or two early just because a retailer decided to break the street date.

Go to the system blade and then select memory.
Press Y on the HD symbol and then press X,X,Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X,X. Once you do this a messsage will appear saying: Do you want to perform maintenance on your Xbox 360 storage devices

Or just don't play on Live. I have downloaded and played dozens of games and never had any problem. I only occasionally hook my Xbox up to the network to get updates, but make sure there isn't an illegal game in the drive.

Kryteris, I dont think you can clear that part, as far as I know its stored internally on the mainboard and got absolutely nothing to do with purging the consoles game cache. It basically just lies dormant in wait for an internet connection. Best way to avoid problems, never connect your 360 to the internet, second best sollution, only play stuff you know for sure is ok and not bad rips or mediocre releases by weird or unheard of releasegroups.

first you extract the rar files. then there wil be a .iso and a .dvd file. then you burn the.dvd file (just 1kb or so) with imgburn on a DL+DVD

burn to a DVD+r DL (have to that is what 360 games run on cost about $25 a 20 pack)
use dvd decrypter once downloaded right click the first rar file their should be about twenty of them click extract here let it extract (should take twenty to thirty) after the file extracts to the SAME FOLDER you should have a .iso wihich ia roughly 6 to 10 GB. and a file that is roughly 10 to 50 KB. right click the type dvd file (the one that looks like a page with a disk in it aka the 10 to 50 KB file) then open with note pad it should bring up THIS!

next step upload the extracted .iso file (6 to 10GB) by opening it in the dvd decrypter then click tools/ settings/ (on the tabs click iso write mode) then click the circle called user specified and enter the layer break # click okay insert your disnc and BURN (P.S,. MUST BE DONE AT 2x TO BE DONE RIGHT!!!!!) IF you hash a flashed/modded box everything should go smooth

currently all New arcade 360s have a lite-on drive in them. There is currently no firmware hack for it. You are SOL for the moment, maybe a few more months, hopefully less.

stealth patched means it will not be detected by MS as an illegal game
as for all the people who avoid live because they fear they will be banned.....WHATS THE DIFFERENCE? if you dont go online, thats the same as getting banned.

derrenfox: You must have dual layer. Since normal DvDs are have to little space for 360 games.
motupa: You can't play any downloaded 360 games on an unmodded/un-flashed Xbox360.

motupa: you aren`t "voiding" ur warranty when u flash ur xbox 360 if u do it right.
There are a lot of very good guides of how to do it (use google).
If u feel that u r not sure about how to do, then let someone else do it for u.
and like i said u dont fuck up ur warranty when u flash it, just when u use a chip.

Hey bud,
You have got to flash your xbox in order for that to work.. Just google flashing xbox 360.. Oh and by the way the new xbox comes with a liteon drive... They don't have firmware to mod that drive yet. it is coming out Dec 24th... So merry Christmas... and you better make sure of what you are doing if not you can render your xbox an expensive dvd player.... Its drive key is unique to each xbox. if you are not careful you can get a bad flash and render the thing useless.. I have flashed countless drives.. Be careful find a guide and read before you do anything and check out the xbox hacker scene.. Google those words... they will pick up a bunch of stuff.....

This is not for Prince of Persia but its for Gears of War 2 byt the same tracker, circleenssess.
I get the "The disc is unreadable" error. Its where im about to pick up the grenades, if i pick them or pass them, i get the error. Burned on VERBATIM DVD+R DL discs, burned the *.dvd file. Opened it, its the correct layer break. Ive checked the .iso on XDVDMULLETTER, it says its fine. I dont know wich DVD reader and wich firmware it gor, But the xbox reads every games except this and banjo kazooie. Im burning at 2,4x speed and my burner does have the last firmware. Can anyone please help me? Im going to give banjo kazooie for my little brother for christmas present.

I have a question, when i download xbox 360 games, it takes a very,very long time. I usually downlaod movies nd shit with like 800-900 kb/s.
But the speed of the xbox 360 downloads is about 30-50 kb/s. It`s very annoying and it takes 2-3 days for the download to complete.
I know that it can be the seeders but just wonder if there`s something i can to to speed it up, I mean it`s always a very bad speed for me.

Smuggles, I have this same problem....burnt the game twice (once using DVD Decrypter, once with ImgBurn), using the LayerBreak method and it still freezes when loading the first level "Into the Storm".
Anyone know how to get this working? I've burnt it going at 2x speed, and the intro menus work fine, it just freezing when loading. Sounds like the disc spins at first then stops after a few seconds. The loading animation sometimes freezes, sometimes doesn't.
