Jag måste säga att det hela är lite förvirrande... Någon som har laddat ner denna versionen, dvs PCGAME och kan bekräfta om den fungerar bra eller inte? Läste precis PCGAMEs respons på att VENGANCEs släppt en proper:
While we appreciate VNG's approach to this release, we can't accept that this goes unnoticed, simply because they are wrong.
We have played this game for a while, and other sceners have also done so. This would be *impossible* if VNG's reported "an awful lot of these" were true.
Following VNG's approach, we're also offering a bit of education in our nfo.
1. Launch IDA
2. Select our crack
3. Click on manual load, then ok.
4. When the option appears, select Load file header
Now you have a better picture of the file you are analyzing. Go over that mysterious location "10900110h" (btw: did you happen to wonder why that location is the same on all calls). And start investigating what this might be doing.
If you can't figure it out, pull out the good ol' softice debugger and start single-stepping. Magic you say?
As you stated, the fact that this was NOT a random process, should have clued you into thinking that it was meant to be that way.
Also, we would have appreciated if the person responsible for this attack on our reputation made sure they were right before doing so.

Hallå alla ni laddar hem ett program som heter Daemon Tools.. sen så packar ni upp spelet med Winrar till lämplig plats och sen Mountar ni spelets ISO fil med Daemon TOols. det är allts åen kopia på spelet som är crackkat å klart å behöver inte brännas... eller jo bara om du vill ha spelet som en backup när du sen ominstallerar windows eller nåt.

There's a scrollbar at the right of your screen. Use it to scroll up a bit and you might find what you're looking for. (Then there's always that old trick of looking in the nfo-file, something that has worked for every game-release since the 80's or something)

Hur fan är det tänkt man ska cracka skiten?
Finns ju inget crack någon stans. Den nya gruppen ger inte mig något gått första intryck iaf. Någon som kan förklara för mig lite mer ingående hur man ska cracka.
Förstår mig inte på gruppen att ändra på det som redan var så bra. Det ska ju ligga en mapp i bin/cue filen som "Crack" men det gör det ju inte....

I dont know if it works, since the 2 of my attempts to download it has failed, but try open the first of the files with winrar, you should see an image file, then run that in daemon tools.

höger klicka bara på en fil och välj att ni skall öppna med WinRar sedan är det bara att packa upp Mounta och inst.

help - for all who dont speak scandinavian
to unrar the archives use winrar- this is obtainable through www.winrar.com - rightclick on the *.001 file and select the "open with" menu, use winrar as the choice for opening the file and then highlight the .bin and .cue file and extract those to where you want em. - note - 001 -> is a hjsplit file, and this dosn't work to unpack the files
next mount them in deamon or burn the suckers on a disk.
the crack is in "cd1:pcgame" folder - note - always rename the original file for update issues ;) - anyhow copy that sucker to the "GameDataSystem" folder......run it and it should work....... well maybe not if this is the case - update your drivers...... :P

Mobbadt grafikproblem för mig.. demot funkade skitbra, men nu är allt helt vrickat. ändrade färger, introvideon(eller kanske bara är någon logga. vet inte) är helt svart med små vita prickar som blinkar(nej, det är inte stjärnor. är 100% på att det är mobbad grafik =P) huvudmenyn är otydbar. någon stor grönaktig ruta i mitten och sånt. Ingen aning om vad det är. Ren slump att jag lyckades ta mig fram till själva spelandet....bara för att upptäcka att det är helt mobbat där också

Jag håller med "krisbi". Jag såg ingen skillnad i att installera detta spel mot andra spela som man laddar hem från Pirate Bay. Det krånliga var kanske att cracken skulle klistras in i system-mappen, men det är bara att följa anvisningarna.

Jag har kommit på en lösning så att spelet inte ballar ur när man startar det. Jag har installerat PCGAMEs release och lagt på VENGEANCEs crack, men det går även med cracket som följer med.
Här kommer lösningen: Gå in i GameDataMovies och döp om eller radera filen NVIDIAIntro.avi och visp har du nu ett fungerande spelalla ur när du startar det :)
I have found a solution for crashing game at startup. I have installed PCGAMEs release and applied VENGEANCEs crack, but it also works with supplied one.
Here is the solution: Go to GameDataMovies and rename or delete the file NVIDIAIntro.avi and now you have a non crashing game :)

I don't have a crack in the CD1 directory. I tried putting the .svf file in CD1 and the .nfo file in the /system folder after installation, and it still says I don't have the disk inserted. I use Daemon Tools, in case that helps.

I am wondering if any1 else also has a install problem with republic commando? When installing is almost finished the game asking for cd1, when loading cd1 it gives a error and shuts down setup.

How can I extract the files?
My file names are "swr1-pcg.001" through "swr1-pcg.054" and instead of getting a .rar file I get this one: BTTEAM NO.1]-
...which is 0 bytes. And then "swr1-pcg.sfv"

Asso jag blir kneckt.. jag har tankat spelet och i mappen ligger 2 mappar cd1 och cd2... dom är redan unzippade så jag har en massa filer som heter swr1-pcg.001 - swr1-pcg.054 respektive swr2-pcg.001 - swr2-pcg.054.
Det finns ingen .cue, .iso eller liknande fil. Så jag kan inte använda deamon tools. Hjälp mig säg hur jag ska göra :)

The first time I downloaded it I was able to successfully unzip Cd1, but had a currupt file in Cd2. So I downloaded it a second time and it worked absolutely fine!

Skulle bara vilja säga till det mongo som la upp den här: Du kunde inte tänkt på att göra filerna kompatibla med WinRar, de är inte det för tillfället.
För att filerna ska vara kompatibla med WinRar så måste filändelsen lyda: exempel.r00
Filerna i mapparna har bara nummer vilket gör att de inte är kompatibla med WinRar dumhuvud! Förstår att folk är förbannade när de måste sitta och namnge ungefär 80-90 filer för att ens kunna packa upp den här härligt skapade torrenten. Har sett detta fenomen på andra torrents också och fattar inte vem fan som skapar dem och vad den här personen egentligen kan om mjukvarukompabilitet och filändelser. Vi kanske har en anställd på Microsoft som lägger upp torrents lite här och var eftersom att inget verkar fungera.
Tips till alla er som fattar nada: Ni får tyvärr namnge alla filerna på nytt, börja med r00 och fortsätt sedan i nummerordning, detta är mycket viktigt. Tack till idiotjäveln som la upp detta för att jag kommer att få sitta i 40 minuter extra och klicka och skriva, jävligt utvecklande plock alltså.

This game does not work on my computer for some reason. I don´t think it´s the crack but the game itself. I use an Acer laptop. Other recent games work, so the driver should be ok. Ok, here's how I got it to work:
1) Unrar (extract) the files in CD 1 and CD 2 folder using WinRar (a freeware program readily available on the web). It will not extract simply by double-clicking, especially if the file isn't conveniently named. For example: .001, .002, .003, etc. To extract, simply select the first file in the folder (".001" file), right-click to open the menu, and select WinRar from the list. You should be able to view the contents almost immediately, although extracting them may take minutes. Make sure you extract the contents (which should be one ".cue" and one ".bin" file per folder) to the original CD 1 and CD 2 folders...for convenience.
2) Once these .cue and .bin files are extracted, use a virtual drive program ("Alcohol 120%" is simple and easy to use) to mount and load the files, in other words, to play the damn things! This program creates a "virtual" DVD on a "virtual" DVD drive on your computer and allows you to install the game onto to your physical hard drive by make it think there's an actual DVD in your fake DVD drive. Cool, huh?
3) The installation will require the following 3 things:
a. The serial # (included in the .nfo file which is located in the general area of the "Star Wars Republic Commando" folder). Be sure to use Notepad to open this file. Again, this will not open simply by double-clicking it. You must open it manually, selecting Notepad from the list of programs by right-clicking the .nfo file.
b. You will be asked to insert CD 2 to complete the installation. When prompted, go back into "Alcohol 120%" and by right-clicking the virtual drive, you can simply "un-mount" the CD 1 .cue file, "mount" the CD 2 .cue file, and "load" the file onto the virtual drive. (Right-clicking the virtual drive within "Alcohol 120%" makes these three options readily available.) Now go back to the install and click 'OK' on the window that asked for CD 2. NOTE: It may ask for CD 1 again after it installs CD 2. Simply repeat the previous step and click 'OK' to finish the install.
c. Lastly, replace the legitimate .exe with the cracked .exe. in order to play the game. This is how:
In "My Computer", right-click the virtual drive now called "Commando_1", and select "Explore" to view its folders. In the folder called "PCGAME", copy the "SWRepublicCommando" file and replace (paste over) the original "SWRepublicCommando" file, which is located on the physical drive. The directory in which it lives should look like this:
C:Program FilesLucasArtsStar Wars Republic CommandoGameDataSystem
Now you're ready to play! Just create a shortcut of the cracked .exe to your Desktop and enjoy!

Riktigt bra lir när man e uttråkad... håller fortfarande på med SWKOTOR II så har inte spelat så långt att jag har kunnat utforska alla lockande möjligheter med det enspelar kontrollerade lagspelet i detta spel... väldigt intressant och nyskapande HUD layout som representerar att man verkligen ska se det som en clonecommado soldat verkligen gör det ur sina egna ögon... Ganska imponerande, men efter hl2 är det dessvärre inte särskilt mkt som är imponerande länge :(

Dudester: Nog sanning det du skrev om HL2, att man nu jämför alla nya spel med HalfLife 2 (alla som har spelet det, vilket jag hoppas innerligt att alla har gjort).
Spelar Project: SnowBlind på Ps2 (också ett fps-spel) som faktisk är ett imponerande spel för att vara till gamla Ps2:an. Spelet använder också en någorlunda fysik, där man kan flytta runt objekt, eller skjuta iväg dem med en slags gravitygun. Jag menar, visst, skitnajs, men inget i förhållande till vad HL2 gör i sitt spel.
Dock klarar Republic Commando kvalitétskravet för vad ett spel måste vara för att just vara ett nyskapande, och skilja sig från spel som t.ex HL2.

Till er som har problem med cd-bränningen av spelet så använd alkhol120% och bränn img filen direkt till cd. min demontool fixade inte cd img:e, det finns tydligen ett copy skydd. Själv använder jag pinnacle i vanliga fall.

Uhm, I don't know if you guys can help me, but I seem to have a problem with installing this game, I unrar the game and get 2 .bin and .cues (cd 1 and cd 2) yet when I mount CD 1 on Daemon Tools and begin the installtion process, it loads up and when I click next it says that LucasArts CD Key or something does not match up or agree and shuts down, does anyone know how to bypass this? OK, the SFV is just to verify the checksum on all the files. You can DL QuickSFV to do that. To get the Bin and Cue, just rightclick one of the other files and open with WINRAR.
The Serial is in the system information(notepad) and the cr@ck is on cd1.

This guy used the most off the wall way to archive these files.... anyways here's what you do.
You need 2 programs - WinRAR, and One of the following... Alcohol, Daemon Tools, or PowerISO.
(I used Alcohol...)
Once done downloading, go into each folder, both CD1, and CD2. Find the first .001 file, right click them, choose Open With... And choose WinRAR. Extract each to a folder of your choice.
That done, open one of your ISO managing programs. In my case, Alcohol. Mount CD1 onto the virtual drive. Leave it open, as you will need to use it several times during install. When the Lucas Arts CD opens, choose open. Using the serial from the .nfo file, or from above, Install. Halfway through the install, it will prompt you to insert disc 2. Alt tab over to your program (Alcohol), and choose cd2 to mount on your virtual drive. That done, alt tab back to the program, and hit OK. It will continue, then when done it will ask for disc 1 again. Alt tab back, and mount cd1. Finish.
When done, find the directory where you installed it, ie C:/Program Files/Lucas Arts/Star Wars... Leave that folder open. Then go to your virtual drive and open the cd1. Under PCGAME there's a .exe file. Place that in the folder you left open. To start the game, run it from that .exe file, known as a no cd crack.

Hey for anybody who is still interested and having that "Please insert original CD" problem after putting in the crack, i fixed it. The problem that i was having was that i used the LaunchRC.exe crack, which did not work. What you have to do is go into your install directory and search within there for the SWRepublicCommando.exe file. Once you find it (Should be in gamedata/system or something) copy and paste the SWRepublicCommando.exe from the PCGAME folder in CD1 into this one. hope it helps.

I downloaded it, install and play (at least for now) have gone smoothly, my only problem is that I dont know how to burn it since it say those are 2 cds but they but have more than 700 mb so, they are bigger than cd capacity.

Well, all those files, which i think that end on .001 .002 .003 ..... and so on, they should be open with winrar, eventhou the pc doesn't recognize that format, winrar will open it. Extract it and burn it or mount it, and install, Hope this works :)

They are not *.rar files but WinRAR is able to extract them anyway. Open up WinRAR then browse for one of the files and double-click. Then it'll show you that you can extract the image file to wherever you want.
Hope that clears things up. Just because they aren't named *.rar doesn't mean they can't be extracted as such.

Well i have always wanted to play this game i downloaded a crappy copy before that didn't work but that was years ago.. I was having trouble trying to figure out how to get this thing installed.. All you have to do is this:
1. Right click on the filed that ends in .001
2. Select "Open With"
3. Select WinRar
4. When WinRar opens the file, select both the files, drag and drop them into the folder (Do that for both CD1 and CD2 folders)
5. Once done, mount the . BIN file using powerIso or Demanoid.
6. It will ask you to put CD2 in the tray, just mount CD2 .BIN using Demanoid, replacing CD1
7. Once installed it will ask you to re-instert CD1 so just mount the .bin file in CD1 again.
8. Now go to "My Computer" and right click on the mounted drive COMMANDO_1 and select "Explore"
8. Go to the folder "PCGAME" and copy the "SWRepublicCommando.exe" file and put it into
"Program Files/ LucasArts/Star Wars Republic Commando/Game Data/System"
9. Right click on the file that you just put into that folder and select "Send to> Desktop" start it from your desktop.
10. ENJOY! =-D

Ok Guys i'm gonna tell you exactly how i installed this game in a precisely detail, for those who are a bit noobie in this area.
1. Thje first thing you need to do is to download 2 programs called "Winrar" & "Deamon Tool" (was those i used) when it's done, restart the computer so the programs will work correctly
1. start with opening the "SW - Republic Commando" -----> CD1, you will see that the file is full with pcg-files, click on the first one named "swr1-pcg" a square will pop up that u can't open it, Click on "choose program in a list", Choose Winrar in that list and a window will pop up. For me the new window included 2 Vlc files (prolly cause i use vlc much or something?) well, 2 files "Swr1-pcg.bin" and "swr1-pcg.cue". Left click at and choose extract to the specified folder, place it on the desktop and do the same with the Cd2 "Swr2-pcg.bin". Finally when the to "Vlc files" in my case is placed at the desktop it's time for "Deamon Tools" to do its part.
If you start you Deamon Tools (a little silver blue circle with a lightning in the middle) shall pop up at the right corner, right click and click unit, then --> Desktop --> all files and click on "Swr1-pcg.bin" and Sw - Republic Commando Setup square will appear, Click install and all the other necessary stuff, when the gmae asks about the CD2 Dont click on any button on the middle of the screen, just do the same as you did the first time with Deamon Tools and Cd1, give it some time and then click ok (i think) it will start with the installation and in a couple of seconds it will want CD1 again, just do the same thing, easy as cake. Finish
Then to the crack: go to "My Computer" and right click on the mounted drive COMMANDO_1 and select "Explore" Go to the folder "PCGAME" and copy the "SWRepublicCommando.exe" file and put it into "Program Files/ LucasArts/Star Wars Republic Commando/Game Data/System"

@Blomgr3n umm, you really don't have to do all that just rename the extensions on the .bin files to .iso then mount like normal and install. when it asks you to change to cd 2 just change the mounted image to the one that was in the cd2 folder.

@Tenu123 Remove DirectX 9 as well as ten DirectX 10 and install DirectX 9 Manually and play the game(if you doubt try to make a restore point after installation of DirectX9, Menu ---> All Programs --> Desktop Accessorries ---> System Workset or something ---> System restore ---> Create restore point) and update DirectX 9 to DirectX 10. Still the same problem? Then DON'T install DirectX 10 if you wanna play Star Wars Republic Commando!

@ 1stand15th I experienced the same. The only thing i did was to attatch the game to the start menu (doesn't work if you copy, you need to use the "attach to the start menu" button when you right click). After that it worked like a dream ;) well, in case you don't know, the game will crash i you don't set the graphics to low, so you'll have to do that too.

To those who are having trouble extracting,
all you need is:
1. to have is win rar archive..
You Can download it in winrar.com or here in piratebay..
Sometimes it might not appear as if it could be extracted.
2. All you need to do is open swr1-pcg.001 then select "choose program from a list"; look for the win rar icon. If it's not there click "browse" then go to its installation directory then click the win rar icon. then viola!!
Remember that if it doesn't look as an extractable file even if you have win rar archive, opening winrar then opening the file wont solve the problem. You will still won't see anything. Just follow these instructions to get the file extracted.

I can also confirm this works, but you definitely have to set bump mapping to low, as some folks have mentioned. If you don't, the game will crash while loading a level.

I tried to do all the instructions contained in the text file, and besides the crack not being there, and having to assemble the cue and bin myself, (which is lazy and messy, on the author's part), it keeps asking for CD 1, even though its in the virtual drive.

OK it works fine for me, Im using Windows XP SP3
this is what I do, go to CD1 folder and right click the 001 file and open with Winrar Extract it in your desktop, go to CD2 folder and right click the 001 file and open with Winrar Extract it in your desktop....Now go to your desktop mount the swr1-pcg, go to my computer open Commando 1 (at drive d) click LAUNCHRC then install it will ask you to insert disk 2, go to desktop and mount swr2-pcg now go back from the installation and press ok, it will ask again to insert disk 1, go to desktop go mount swr1-pcg click ok... then the installation will be finish uncheck all then click finish... go to COMMANDO_1 (at drive d) click PCGAME folder and copy the crack, go to /program files/LucasArts/Star Wars Republic Commando/GameData/System/ and paste it there, open it and ENJOY
to mount it right click the cue file and click "open with..." and find deamon tools or anything that can mount XD

I've actually made an account JUST to comment on this torrent. This was singularly the worst torrent I've ever downloaded. It was confusing, there was no read-me file to explain the installation, it just says "extract CD1 and use this key" when CD1 doesn't even have an obviously extractable file, then after scrawling through comments to find out how to make it work i finally did, the game installed at which point i then discovered that the no disk crack doesn't work and seems to be looking for practically every .dll file under the flipping sun. Honestly, this torrent is NOT worth downloading, go for something else.

It's EXTREMELY standard stuff, extract the '001' archives, mount the 'cue' disc images, install the game as you normally would. The crack is located on the first disc. Everything works. Haven't played this game in forever! thanks for the great torrent! Also why is it that whenever a game is laggy or slow people automatically assume its the uploader and not their own computer that's causing the problems?

help. i have downloaded everything, installed, but when i click to play, it keep telling me to instal/update direct x, okay. so i install/update direct x...
still not working -.-
so i try again...
still making me install/update direct x
so i try going online to find another version of direct x that i can install. installed it.

help guys, i installed and everything, but when i click 'start game on the menu' it pops up with 'star wars needs to update your direct x installation etc.' and when i do, it stil ldoesnt work. wtf. someone help me pelase :)
i have eevn tried downloading another direct x from the interent and installing it, doesnt work. :(

Ok so i installed the game, did everything what i had to do, and when i start it, i make an account, and press "new game" it is loading and when it is done loading, the game ends it self, anyone any tips????????

If you're having trouble with instant crashing after pressing new game, do this:
PsychoEm at 2012-01-17 18:18 CET:
Turn bumpmapping to low if you crash to desktop after pressing New Game.

extract bot files
mount cue with damon tools

Works perfectly with win xp. Did the change to win 7 and starts playing but crashes at the new game option if it makes it that far. tried trouble shooting and nvidia settings but no go. hope this helps out there.
