The drawback is limited support on mobile devices. If your device doesn't support Ogg Speex you can always reencode it to MP3. File size will increase sevenfold (assuming 128kbit) but you'll still get decent audio quality, and no gaps/jumps/spikes/other disturbances. thank you so much!
i've been waiting for this book a long time.
normally vlc does a fine job with .speex files but with theese files i can only get a few seconds of audio then it dies.
i've tried mplayer too but no sound at all.
i'm running osx 10.4.11: any suggestions?
i would really appreciate any input. thank you.
